Killed my front lip

I killed my front lip yesterday:( . When I tried to drive of a side walk my lip slammed into the side walk and a big piece broke off (hole left side). The thing is, I drove backward of the side walk and I was driving really slow. I really didn't think the side walk was that high (got on it without problems). Oh well, time for a new lip.

Was it a stock lip or was it aftermarket? Eitherway, i'm very sorry for you.

I made a Accord lip to fit my car. I'm happy that it wasn't an expensive lip. The lip cost me 50 euro, so not to much lost.

Sorry to hear that Goosse. There must be some bad luck around as my front lip was destroyed over christmas. After a bit of christmas shopping I returned to my car to find the front lip haning from the bumper. It looks like another car hit the lip and destroyed the corner :(

Lucky the front bumber was ok.

The lip wasn't that special. Do you remember the green hatch of the FF-squad (the one with the spoon rims) that I posted a while back, it looked like the one on that car. Or I'm buying another Accord lip and make it fit, or I'm going to order the one that was on the ff civic for my car...

I'm more into the clean look, don't really like the agressive look.

Hi, haven't been online over Christmas. Ah the swap, still about to put my money where my mouth is, must be done within the month though as I have to retax the car :( Watch this space :silly:

Yep, you see why I'm happy it's broken:D Normally it would go all around the bumper and would come lower at the sides, but that piece broke of.

Please don't laugh :biggrin2: :toothless

BTW: I had to take a big piece of, otherwise I couldn't get into my garage anymore;)

I think it´s not that bad at all! But I´m sure that there are nicer ones out there....:)

It happened again....

When I parked my car this weekend I must have hit a little curb (the curb as only 5cm high, but there were 4 people in my car). Now the right side of the (new) lip broke off...

oh well, shit happens:bloated:
