Glowing needles

hey I thought about trying this out before with just UV reactive paint but then I found this site.

What my question was is what kind light do you think they are using? Yes I know it's a uv light with uv paint. but is it like a led or what? Because I don't wanna pay 40 for a lil kit that is actually like 10.00 worth

i would say try the DIY first, i mean if its not bright enough o well you r down 10 bucks ya know.

yea I just don't know what kind oflight to use that wont be too bright...I jsut want ot light up the needles...any idea?

Just a thought maybe try and make some BS story to make them tell you want they use or something idk. Ask the company?

the leds behind it are a mess though. im still working on getting them brighter. i think i should try a different paint.
