I'm getting just a bit pissed off with the attitude of some of our junior members on thes OT forums.They seem to think that because they have been here a few weeks,they are somehow superior to those who have just come to the board.They behave like they own the board,and can't let a new member make a thread without adding a stupid or obnoxious put-down that centres around the word n00b.

Get your hands off your cocks guys.If you don't have the decency to make new people feel welcome,STFU and stay out of their threads.You have nothing to prove to them,and acting like ignorant assholes will not impress them

Well, I'm new and I feel like I've been treated fairly if that means anything to you taranaki. It's kinda crazy, I'm on AF so much I'm beginning to get a feel for all of the regulars' personalities. So thanks to everybody for letting me participate in this crazy world called "Automotiveforums.com". I appreciate it.

I'm assuming that i fall in that group of people. Well I welcome those with open minds who come in looking to learn help chat. i am a noob as you would say and i have felt quite welcome to here despites the one thread i mad with just replys making fun of my spelling and gamer.
it did not bother me at all it just made me laff a lot because most of the people here seam to have a good sense of hummer or just are good at being a ass

Well i have felt quite welcom here. I was having an educated argument in another forum and i proved my worth and everyon seemed quite nice about it, not one metion of the number of posts i have nor the joined date.
I have only had one experance with a member who mentioned the were "noob". He was a mad Honda Civic owner who was cintinusly dissagreeing that a small spoiler would add stabilityto a car. But that is erelivent.

My point, i find this forum to be very good in that respect. Everyone shows some level of respect, and if they dont well kiss my white ass :D

I would just like to get to the point where I get the inside jokes and people start calling me by my real name (which is Karl , by the way, don't be afraid to use it) and people who live in my area from AF and I have parties and talk about cars. AF IS a family, it's just one of those families where we don't talk to or refuse to acknowledge some of the relatives at the reunions :grinno:
