02 Tahoe gauge cluster

As I understand, the 03~04 GM full size truck & SUV is equipped with transmission temperature sensor and you can buy a OEM gauge cluster panel with the trans-tem dial.
Does any one know if it will work (plug-in) on a 02 Tahoe or does it require major modification ?

i'd just add in an aftermarket guage. you'd have to go through a dealer to change the cluster and it won't be cheap
