Made a mistake!!!!
Had to replace distributor and had electric problem
Finally found broken wire under air filter
Now can't seem to find TDC... I troed pulling #1 and getting piston at top ....even reversed it 180 degrees... but no luck starting truck
Any tricks to ensuring that I have TDC when i insert distributor?
Thanks

Ya, unplug your coil wire, pull the plug on the #1 cyl. and if you don't have a buddy to bump your starter, reach over and jump the solenoid with a screw driver, and wait 'till the compression blows your thumb off of the plug hole. That'll get you close enough to TDC to set your distributor. Or stick a long screwdriver (or anything) in the hole and turn the motor over with a breaker bar on the crank pulley and feel for the piston stopping up top.
