projectors better than headlamps

i have heard about projectors not outputting as well as regular headlamps, and i have concluded this to be false in my opinion. I went from stock 95 accord halogen headlamps to dual halo projectors and i dont know if its just me but i think it puts out better lighting more effectively and efficiently. My projectors fire out towards the front, front left, and front right ,which most projectors do im assuming, not to mention the cool blue light that other drivers can view at certain angles when in the opposite lane coming towards me. Its just weird that I have heard so many stories about projectors being less effective than standard halogen lighting. Of course HID systems are at the top of the list, but in my recent comparison between regular headlamps and projectors the projectors got my bet. Especially if compared to those hyperwhite bulbs that dont do anything but darken the road more than regular bulbs. More in the rain when its dark more than anything. This is just my opinion if anyone has any comments please post.

stock lamps are huge H4 bulbs
halo lamps are wimpy H1 bulbs
I think you're making yourself believe they're brighter because you spent a lot of money on them.

haha
yea I'm thinking this as well...what I plan on doing is remove the yellow parts, painting my housing black (or frame whatever you want to call it) and then doing a HID conversion. Because I want some wicked bright lights and halos aren't the way for me to go...

Halos = all show no go :(
Unless you add some 5000k PIAA plasma fogs :naughty:

If I could go back I would have bought some hid's. I'm just saying my blinding foglights make up for my mistake in headlights :(

hmm the projectors I have on my teg are definitely brighter than the stock high and low beam, but the stock fog lights were definitely blinding compared to the fogs that came in my headlights, so to make up for the lack of fogs I did add the set in my bumper, but its still not as bright as the stock fogs. but anyway my high and lows are now brighter than stock.
my only complaint with the projector headlights is that they use H3 bulbs which in my experience and a few friends experience blow very easily. I mean too hard of bumps or slamming the hood will blow them out and it sucks replacing them cuz you gotta pull the head light assembly to do it.

H3 bulbs are a LOT bringer than the H1's mine came with. H1's are comparable to led's :(

well let me correct myself i suppose, the fogs and low beams are H3 but the brights are H1 and they seem the brightest.
