I didn't even know such a kit existed, some nice stuff on that site. Thanks for the link Privateer. Does this mean you've almost finished the 935? ;)

Back to the Chaparral, that car sucks - literally! Half sports car, half refrigerator. Not only pioneered underbody aerodynamics but proved ugly could be quick! Did you know Jim Halls fan car was actually inspired by an idea from a race fan? (excuse the pun)

Very interesting project! One of the most revolutionary race car of history! But I'm not sure about the quality of the kit...
This would be a great challenge! Just do it!

Agreed, great challenge, interesting subject matter...and having had models from R&D, your question of the quality is valid...let's just say the two R&D kits that I've got are of below average quality, from the master work to the casting. They're quite useable for an experienced modeler, but from my experience there are other resin casters who are much more careful w/their product (and some that are worse). They do some great subjects that you won't find elsewhere, just be prepared for the extra work revising details and/or cleaning up the casting to your own satisfaction.. :)

No the 935 is no where near done. I am just thinking ahead. I am kinda gettin' into the vintage race car thing, and thought this would be a cool build. This kit is from Mini Exotics, before RnD bought them. It got a good write up in SAE. I have not decided on my next project...I have a few ideas kickin' around though
