Hi folks,
I've got a 2001 Taurus SEL duratech, with 25,000 miles. It has picked up some sort of 'clunk' which seems to be in the front suspension, possibly the passenger side. Does anyone have any idea what this could be. I believe my Warranty is fresh out, I could check with the ford delarship but don't want to be charged an arm and a leg for this.
Hopefully it is something relativly minor and not a drivetrain problem!
thanks!

sounds like sway bar end links they cost about 20 bucks each and can be done by crawling under and unbolting old rebolting new end link ties sway bar to frame/chasis i would expect to pay labor 1hr + 35 each link to have it done

Hey, thanks!
Any idea what goes into changing the links? Do I have to remove a bunch of other stuff, need a jack or can I just drive it up on ramps and take the links off?
Thanks again!
