what to do? dealership wants 950 for waterpump, timing belt, and tensioner and seals.. and lots of other stuff that i don't think i need. i think i need the timing belt and the waterpump but can i wait on all the other stuff or is it pretty much if they look bad then replace them when down there? only have 70 k on it. I don't have the time or the place to do it myself. any ideas?

spend $260 dollars and order your parts from bob kise at fenton dodge. That will include just about EVERY part you need for the job, then if you don't have time to do it yourself most places can do the job in 3-4 hours at $60 an hour. So go that route and call a few shops, make sure it's cool to bring your own parts and you should be looking at around $500

For timing belt, i would definetely take it to a dealership. People may say they know how to replace the timing belt on a 4g63 but i've seen Mitsubishi shops mess up b4. Just find out about the shop b4 u have em do such a critical job.
