99 Silverado Ext. Cab sub box

Hello everyone, I have a 1999 Silverado extra cab 4x4. I want to put in a sub box under my rear seats. Has anyone done this? I found some different kinds of boxes but can't choose. Downfire, Upfire, or Frontfire. Which sounds better? I want to put in 2 10's or 2 12's. Also where to put the amp? Any help would be cool. Thanks.

hey, well how many watts you going to have ? the best box i think is a box called probox i installed two 10'in woofers and a punch 800 amp and a orion cross overand ooooooooooo man will it rock!!!!!! try that if you got the duckies :2cents: :evillol:

I Have A 99 Silverado 4x4 Ex. Cab And I Built A Box That Has Two 10" Subs Firing Up And It Sounds Great. The Amp Is Right Behind The Box Just Sitting Under The Back Of The Seat. Two Of My Friends Have The Same Set Up. Works Great.

Thats Looks Good. I Also Have 2 Mtx 10's In Mine. How Do U Like The Wipple? Did You Intall It? If You Don't Mind How Much Was It? I Was Thinking Of Getting A Charger.

i like mine it cost $ 3200 took about 8 hours to install. 50% more hp

Where Did You Get It So Cheap? I've Have Seen It For Around $4200.
