What size speakers are in the rear (the ones in the ceiling) of my Tahoe? Are they a common size? Where could I pick a new set up?
Thanks in advance.

Don't know the size but any dealer selling name brand stuff can look it up. Try Best Buy or Circuit City.

4x10 in my '99.
Pioneer, Kicker, Kenwood all make them and the sound they make all suck!
I just bought a $100 pair of the 120w Pioneer 4x10, sucked!
I'm going to see if I can't find a 2-way 4" round speaker and fabricate it to fit that space.
Round speakers are much better than those oval shaped ones.

Hi, I replaced all of the speakers in my 95 Tahoe with JBL component speakers. Got all 8 speakers and crossovers for $100. I mod the rear to take the 6" round one that also go in the front door. They just fit. put the tweeters in the rear posts facing the front. Sound a lot better than stock. Got them from E-Bay. That might be 6 1/2", what ever fits in the front door. I also put the crossovers up with the rear speaker. The fronts are a bolt in.
