Firing Order for a 350 and a photo is needed

OK something is really messy... i noticed my iroc running kinda different... so i wanted to check the timing.. but i couldnt because of the special sparkplug wires..

so.. i got a spare sparkplug wire.. and went to gook it up to the no.1 cylnder.. but i got confused... is the left side or the rght side 1... but i also noticed.. that the wire marked #1 was hooked into the #3 cylnder and some other wires where... off.... can i have a photo or something of the firing order of the distribuator.. and what number the cylnders are?
Its a 350 TPI... here is a pic of the distribuator.

wow, sounds like the person who did it last gave up on doing it right. i can do a sketch of the firing order and distributor for ya, and scan and post it, ill have to do it tomorrow though, to late tonight to get started. but ill be more than happy to help out. its pretty easy.

is that duct tape on one of the wires?

with the no 1 cylnder at TDC

i had to take the cap off the distribuator and see where the rotor was pointing for no#1

and i got it now... runs GREAT!

oh and the tape you saw was duck tape with 1,3,5 and 7 written on them.... wasnt that accurate

oh i thought the tape was holding the wires together, looked kindof funny...

well then, guess i get to be lazy after all :)

that rotor looks like it's on its way out.
