Interesting, i'm going to send a hate letter to [email protected]. It probably wont help, but it's time people like us start fighting back, to be able to continue to do what we want to our cars. This organization goes up there with the EPA on my list.

These people do have a point.
Now, some of my cars are a bit louder than stock, and I have cut off my share of mufflers, but obviously, we are ruining our hobby.
Some exhausts are too loud and annoy others. We all have to live together, so it is up to you and me to exercise some discretion and not give the anti car people reason to get pissed off at us. Think before running your glass packs and your fart cans, ripping up someone's neighbourhood on a Saturday night. It pisses me off when someone does that and wakes me up at 3 am.
If we all use some common sense, noise won't be an issue for others.

True for SOME mufflers. However, the Flowmasters I've heard on V-8's are not THAT loud until you get into the loud pedal. I've let our club members (Buick Drag Racers) know about this site. I'll probably send them a letter with a content similar to the following:
Dear Noise Free,
I'm glad you've chosen to use the silent Internet to "voice" your opinion. I am sure that I'd find the sound of your oral flatulence offensive.
Perhaps we should ban sound all together. I for one find the sound of a baby crying on an airplane MOST annoying. Further, I abhor the cacophony of children playing. I hope you get my point, but, given the vacuum it would have to penetrate, I'm sure it would be lost.
BTW, how DOES sound make it through the vacuum between your ears!
That should get their attention:rofl:. Note the big words, I'm sure they'll LOVE it.

Glad you liked it. I wonder if we could have these people declared threats so that we could use Tom Ridge's duck tape on their mouths!
