I can't believe that they actually have competitions to see how fast a particular model can be made. :screwy:

That is kinda ridiculous that they have Lego building competitions. But Legos still kick ass.

I don't understand why this is so weird, Lego blocks are like any other way to express art, they just happen to have kits designed for children as well.

Oh man..I miss my legos.
Did anyone else notice how crappy the sets have gotten lately though? The set will be a boat, for example, and the "boat" part will be just 1 or 2 monstrous pieces so you can ONLY make the boat in the instructions..
They used to be SO much better, more basic pieces that you could make ANYTHING with. Also they have gotten damned expensive. :(
At least, I'm having a boy so I will have a great excuse to start collecting and playing w/ Legos again. :)

I miss my legos. When I was younger, my friends and I built a lego town. I remember we made 5 diferent shops and 110 small homes. I also rember building so many lego cars. That was my favotie thing to do when I was young.

My attempt at a V-8, it's 'supercharged' and even has a clutch and throttle cable.
