Climate Control Unit Swap.

Is it possible to swap the climate control unit in the dash of an 88' civic with a newer one. Or is that out of the question. The reason i ask is because my temperature knob snaped off, my heater doesn't work and there's a crack down the middle of the whole unit. (Looks like the last owner of the car got alittle frustrated with A/C unit). :screwy:

nope, you need to get the electrically controlled flappers for your A/C. all those little flaps in the AC system are controlled by cables in a stock one, and they are controlled by electric motors for the pushbutton setup. i have been thinking about doing it while my dash is out. just gotta find a complete setup.
