I might be able to help but I'll need the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to do some research. It starts with WBA...

Before I'll help you, you have to level with me because I'm suspicious of you - let me count the ways:
1) Your grammer is poor ("and it got recoverd")("all teh wires was cut")("some one"). It's hard to believe someone with this level of language skills could make enough to own a '99 BMW 740iL since new ones (2003-2004) have sticker prices of around $75,000-$80,000 and 1999 models sell for perhaps half of that-still a lot of money.
2) If you're OK, your (Note: there IS a difference between "you're" and "your".) insurance would pay to have your car put back into proper shape by the dealer and you would only have to pay the deductible. Don't you have insurance? on a 1999 BMW 740iL? are you NUTS? When a car is financed the lending institution requires that you carry insurance so, did you pay cash? for a 1999 BMW 740iL? Does the bank know you dropped the insurance? Suspicious, Suvas. Sorry.
3) Your real name is listed only as "Linas" and you're a "freight coordinator". So, you work on a loading dock, pay cash for a 1999 BMW 740iL for which you don't carry insurance. Sigh. Very, ah, shall we say, unusual, Suvas
4) The email you just gave me is not the one that you gave the forum when you registered only 2 days ago.
Sorry, I don't want to be an SOB, but I don't want to accidently help a thief either, so please, "fess up"

P.S. I know more about your car but I'm not telling right now.
Thank you much

Before I answer to your entire question, let me get this straight… Is this like investigation, who am I, were I am from, and how did I get this kind of car???
1) Are you trying to insult me, that if some one who’s grammar is poor can’t make enough money to own a BMW??? OK I am not an American; I have been in states for few years. I am communicating with people more verbally than in writing. I have a job, and I have saved some money to by descant car for my self, and if you want to know I brought some money from where I came from. Is that enough explanation about my poor grammar skills and money?
2) OK I just bought this car from auto auction. Copart if you would like to know it called, I think you do know it. Yes it does have some damage; it does have salvage title, (that is what you do know about this car). And I am fixing it out of my pocket. I assume you do know the procedure when you buy the car from auto auction.
3) And yes, my real name is Linas.Want to know my last name? It is Pocius. As I told you I am not an American that is why it’s an unusual name for you!!! You want to know where I am from? Lithuania is my native country. One more thing. I am freight coordinator I am not working on a dock with a pallet jack or forklift I am working in the office as a dispatcher for a trucking company (I am dispatching the drivers all over the country).
4) About the e-mail, I think you made a mistake. My e-mail is [email protected] I think you saw my MNS Messenger it is a different e-mail, but I am using SUVAS e-mail. Now think your self … I you are suspecting that I am a thief, would I give my Comcast e-mail to you (you can find out where I live by asking to whom this account belongs).
5) And the final thing. Sir never ever again call me thief. I never stole nothing from any one and especial from YOU!!! At that point you insulted me!!! I you don’t want to help me, it’s fine I will sign out from this forum and will never ever again show up in here!!!
Suvas
P.S. If you want to know more about me please write me an e-mail, I will give my phone number, and then we can talk in person!

By the way, maybe you want to see copies of title of this car, just let me know, I will prove you that I didn't stole that car! OK?

First, I did not call you a thief. I said I was suspicious and didn't want to help a thief and I believe those suspicions were well founded. If only you had told the TRUTH in the first place about the salvage title it would have explained everything. Sigh. There's no shame in a salvage title. My previous BMW had been rebuilt after salvage as well. I asked you to level with me and you did, and so I accept your explanation and I'll do my best to help you. It's not necessary to send me a copy of your title.
Second, working in the trucking industry as a shipping coordinator (or a fork-lift operator) is an honorable profession. The trucking industry moves a zillion tons of cargo every day and our economy would collapse without it. And I applaud you for working hard and saving your money, but I still maintain that the jobs mentioned above would not earn enough to buy a late model luxury car UNLESS it was purchased at a super good price such as might be expected from a salvage auction. Good for you!
Your grammar is not perfect (nor is mine) but it is adequate. It was only when coupled with the story about the car being stolen from you that made me suspicious. And your English is much better than my Lithuanian; I guarantee it.
Before writing this morning I loaded my CDs to look up the wiring information you asked for. Your car is a BMW E38 7-series (1995-2001). Sadly, my CD only covers through the E32 7-series (1988-1994), so I won't be able to send the wiring information after all. Sorry. But I can still help. Here's how:
Go to http://www.roadfly.org/ and sign up there as you did for this board. One of the boards there is for E38 7-series cars and maybe someone there can help you. Or you might try a BMW dealer-take your title to prove ownership and ask for the wiring diagrams and they'll probably give them to you.
BMW audio equipment is plentiful on ebay, so if you plan to fix it that way then consider buying parts there. I bought my BMW CD changer on ebay for $150 and it works fine.
It would be cheaper by far to buy aftermarket equipment though. I’m not an audio expert but consider this: Your BMW had an amplifier capable of driving all of its speakers (10? 12?, more?) and maybe still does. For my ’93 740il the amp in the trunk. I don’t remember for sure but I think it’s mounted under the parcel shelf. If it’s not there look behind the trim panels in the trunk. Most aftermarket amps are meant to drive only 4 speakers, so route the output of the aftermarket radio to the BMW amplifier, and the BMW wiring will go to all the speakers.
Here are a few sites you might find useful:
http://www.autolib.diakom.ru:8001/CAR/BMW/1995/740iL/SYSTEM%20WIRING%20DIAGRAMS/
This site only covers 7-series cars up to 1995, but a 1995 model is an E38, like yours, so there may be some good stuff there.
http://home.t-online.de/home/kd-service/auto/auto.htm
Most of this is in German, but being from Lithuania perhaps you can read it.
http://www.carstereohelp.com/bmw.htm
This is a repair place but they may have some used equipment you could buy.
http://bmwe32.student.utwente.nl/
These guys have E32 cars, but may be useful to you anyway.
http://www.nmia.com/~dgnrg/page_2.htm Same for this site.
Well, I guess that’s about it for now. Good luck and I truely hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for trying to help me out.I was thinking about aftermarket audio system as well, and probably I will do that, but one thing is bothering me , that my car does not have a radio/display unit/on board computer. This thing is also programable for automatic ventilation(I mean you can set timer for the car cool it down inside itself)and my main consern is , will the A/C and heat work without this unit... But I just bought this unit from the internet with the plugs.(wirring harnesses) My main consern as I said to connect this unit now, because old one was stolen with the plugs. That is why I am asking for wiring diagrams. And in the cars trunk I am missing everything(amplifire,CD changer, even wiring harnesses to the rear stoplights, turn signals and so and so...
But I hope I will put everything together soon, and everything will work:)

To say the least, you have a difficult task ahead of you. I hope you have a good place to work on it, out of the cold Illinois winter-maybe in a corner of a warehouse where you work? I would think to fix it properly you'll need to remove the console, the seats, and the carpet. Ugh!
Although my CDs don't cover the electrical diagrams for your car, I do have a parts catalog with most of the BMW part numbers. I was looking at the audio equipment part numbers for your car and it looks like there are several choices you could make and the cost would vary tremendously based on your choices.
You may be able to buy the wiring harnesses and audio equipment from a junk yard. If you had to buy all that stuff from the dealer it'll cost a lot.
Heat and A/C. My '93 has that ventilation feature as well-it's pretty nice. From the photos I've seen of a 1999 740iL it looks like the heat and A/C controls are on a separate panel from the audio stuff so it might work. Then again, the wires might go back to a central wiring harness which was cut by the thieves in order to steal the audio equipment.
Let's continue offline from this board. Please email me at [email protected].
