Whenever the car is just idling about every 10 seconds there is this really annoying whine...at first I thought it was the A/C but I turned it off and it still did it...it sounds exactly like that except its not as loud.
Any Clue?
Thanks

Annoying whine? What kind of whine? There may be a possibility that its one of the belts. May be loose or something.

can't describe it really just sounds like when the belt is loose and the A/C would whine...I guess it would have to be a belt though

I think (not sure) its the belt then. There is like a screeching sound when one of the belts is usually loose.

I'd say a belt, power steering, A/C, altenator, one of them.
But on to why I actually posted in this thread. This is a note to newbies, see how at the very start of the post he identified his car? That is awesome. Then moving on, you see how he clearly stated what the issue is? Equally awesome. Pat yourself on the back. Nothing is worse than "check it out, theres this noise coming from my car, what is it?" What the hell is anyone supposed to do with that?
Or my favorite, "my cars check engine light is on and my car is stuttering, what's it mean?" Come on, put forth some effort.
I extend thanks to you for taking the time to help us help you.

Check them all for proper tension, if one is too tight, or loose, that is PROBABLY it. Or if they all feel right, then remove them one by one till the whiling stops and you have found your culprit.

that's what I figured...not just a simple way. you gotta take them off. So I guess my question now is...out of the ones you said would you mind telling me which is the easiest to check and which is the hardest to check?

Just an update...haven't looked to much at it but I do think it's the A/C belt because it does it if the a/c is on or off but if I turn the A/C it'll lower the sound of the whine and doesn't do it as much. Thanks for all the help :D
