Resonators

Hey guys, I've got an 02 Eclipse GT with nothing but Magnaflow Race Series muffler and a system. I was thinking about getting the resonator removed and i wanted to know how much louder that makes the exhaust? I've also been looking at a CAI and I want to know if that makes a difference in the EXHAUST sound? Thanks guys!

It will be loud and raspy mosy likely. Removing the resonator isnt going to do anything for you. Just get a full catback exhaust.

Getting an intake SEEMED to make a difference in my stock exhaust sound back in the day, but it might have been in my head.
