Oh yah, by the way I have an Aurora with a V8 4.0 Northstar engine screaming out 291 HP that will leave your little Achieva in the dust!! Oh what do you have for an engine, a puny 2.4 ltr quad 4, use to have one in a Grand AM GT, what a joke they are, I raced both my cars against each other and my Aurora won by a long shot. So nice try, maybe next time.... 92SCXW41

Hmm, not to familiar with the cars are you. First there is no such thing as a 2.4 quad. Second. I will personally say I would love to race your Northstar car. Are you anywhere near Ohio, or between here and Myrtle beach. Second, your car is lacking about 6 hp to my achieva, though pretty close in numbers have you had yours on a dyno? Second what have you done. This car only has 250 hp at 5,600 rpm and 260 ft pds at 4,400 rpm.
Damn, not a whole lot when your pulling a massive 3802 pounds and a automatic transmission. Sure, it is a great luxary car but I would leave well enough alone and beware that some of us are not young kids who think there cars are fast because of the front clip, rear spoilers and coffee can exhaust. I have spent several dollars to Manaparts and took the time to make my car preform they way I want. You car would not hold a candle behind mine. But, hey, I am a man about things and if you really have the car you say you do, sweet ride man.

I guess you know nothing of the SCX model Achievas. Do a little research first.

Yes there is such thing as a 2.4 ltr quad4, its just a jump up from the 2.3 ltr quad4, they just don't put quad4 on the engine due to the 2.3 quad4 bad rep. And yes I have had my car on a dyno, my uncle's mechanic shop has one. Basically all i've done to my car are bolt on application, you know hand made cross exhaust with some 14830 magnaflow mufflers. I also redesigned my air intake box like specified on another Aurora forum I found and put in a K & N filter. I also added a performance chip. Just to give you a few minor upgrades that I have done to the car performance.
Here is what I found about the Achieva:
the W-41 Quad4 is only available in the Acheiva SCX for 92/93,hp is 190.A VTECH eater!!!These cars were limited editions so they are hard to find!An Acheiva SC is only a HO Quad4 so watch for the SCX!The Quad4 when mated to a 5-spd transmission can take a lot of V-8s to the cleaners!!
I use to have a 2.3 HO in my Grand Am I owned.
And now the 2.4 ltr engine I spoke of:
2.4 liter Twin Cam.The motor is similar to a Quad4 with .1 more Liter. The Twin Cam puts out a very modest 150hp.
Found this info on a GM history website (copied and pasted it) for your information, so don't tell me I don't know what I am talking about.
