after i turn off the alarm and try to start the car.the theft system light comes on and the car just cranks.sometimes it goes on while the car is running.what will cause this . 1996 grand am

Yep, your passlock system is failing. Have you had it in for the recall yet?

it was changed and the theft light still comes on now it blinks

You'll have to have it serviced again. It is not right.
