I was just wondering with all the custom civics out there. Were is it that all the guys are finding out how to do the work them selves. I am getting ready to do all the body work on my civic. I was wondering if there is a way to find out how to do fiberglass work on my civic. As far as were to start and were the best place to get the supplies are. I have a complete body kit to put on and a complete wide body kit as well with a few other custom pieces. I am just looking for some help. I am not wanting to pay anyone to do the work cause it is just hard to find anyone in my area that takes pride in doing the work. They just want to do the work and get paid. They could care less what the job looks like. Any help would be greatly appreciative.

check out tech schools in your area and see what they have in the way of a paint and body class , that is what i did , you can learn alot that way

its pretty indepth blu, preporation is key, if you don't prep the parts your working on the right way the fiberglass will actually start to pull off and fall away to put it simple, but you can get all the supplies you need at just about any local parts store. you can buy gallon containers for around 17.00 of tiger hair or kitty hair which is premixed fiber and resin, you just add the hardner and mix well, but like tracker says its best to know what your doing so you don't ruin any of your parts trying to learn on.
