LIfe sucks

Well about 4 months ago i got dumped for another guy. The girl i was seeing still says she loves me but wont change anything about her relationhip, she wont break up with him. Theres more to the story i just dont want to go into detail.

Life doesn't revolve around a person, believe it or not. She's moved on, and even if she says she still loves you, she obviously doesn't love you enough to break up with the guy she's with now. Push her out of your mind, be friends if you want, but that's it. Get on with your life and find someone new.

Girls are the devil! Sorry to hear about your situation, break-ups are a real kick in the pants. And you are right, it is easy to say all that "move on" stuff when you aren't directly experiencing it, but I'm sure that at some point all those people have and they have learned that moving on is the best move you can make in that situation, I certainly have... well, maybe I haven't mastered the concept, but I'm certainly trying. But yeah, that's really all I can say from what I know about you and your situation, is that all you can do is take it day by day and try to move on with your life, and I found it hard to believe that crap when my gf broke up with me, but I guess you grow up and learn after a while. Do whatever you feel is right regarding maintaining a friendship with her, but from my experience don't get your hopes up for getting back with her, it will only mess things up.

Yes, it's easy for them to say , because half the people here have went through the same thing.It sucks,but believe it are not.There is always somebody you'll like more.It's like saying you'll only eat one kind of food.I'm sure that food is great,but,there are so many different types of food it's unreal.

I just had a break up myself, two weeks ago I asked her if she still had feelings for me, she said she did and then 6 days later she tells me she doesn't have feelings for me anymore and what hurt the most is that she had a bf the next day. I'm trying to still be friends with her but its still very awkard to talk to each other and I'm trying to get over her and move on, but theres so much stuff that reminds me of her.

It takes awhile I was married to my wife for 8 years and we dated for 2 before we got married. She left me for another guy back in October last year. Well it hurt it sucked but I can say now that I am much better off without her. I know this is hard to imagine since your situation is fresh but just keep your chin up and things will eventually happen for you and you will be happier than ever. Think of it as a new beginning and not an ending. This is now your chance to mourn a bit for yourself and then move on with meeting new people and associating yourself with new hobbys, new places to hang out ect.

yeah you can. i recently got out of a relationship. i cried my eyes out while i decided i needed to break it off with the guy, then i kept crying to day of and the next day of the break up. we agreed to try to be friends, but i wanted to keep a distance from him just for our own good. i actually didnt want to get over him but somehow i did. life just became really busy and full. so many guys have been trying to talk to me, past exboyfriends wont leave me alone, but i didnt want to have anything to do with men. but i thought oh well i dont want to be a male-hater because there are some very nice guys out there (like i never have to carry an umbrella cuz random strangers will run over to me and walk me under their umbrella, and random guys will walk 10 feet to open a door for me etc) but most likely in the future i'll end up being mistreated again, but if im gonna get mistreated may as well be with a very attractive one right? but theres a new coworker named Derek and on a scale of 1-10 he is a 10. my heart undergoes cadiac arrest everytime i see him. so i talk with him when we get the chance and turns out he's really nice to me, he is very reserved with females but for some reason not reserved around me, he's open and fun to talk to. and so not only have i gotten over my exbf in less than a week, i found someone better out of the blue. and its only rebound if someone is seeing someone new to try to forget about the past ex. which isnt in this case. recovery period depends on the duration/strength of the relationship and how brutally it ended and the processing of emotions relative to the person

I still don't understand y she wanted to break up, cause I'm one of the nicest guys that she or any other girl could meet and I treated her like a queen, but I guess I'll never know. Another problem with this is she was in a car club that I'm in and those are her friends so I see her like at least once a week in fact I saw her tonight which just put me in a sad mood. Its hard to get over somebody when u see them all the time but my friends have helped alot with this. I still don't think u can lose your feelings for somebody in a week.

Got the same problem I can't get her out of my head. I thought she would be easy to get over but now I realize how much I really loved her. I've tried doing things to get her out of my mind but it hasn't worked. This just sucks why can't all this stuff just go away just get out of my head. I hate this

alright i might as well spill everything i mean i cant sleep because of this so i might as well tell the whole story

Alright about 7 months ago i went to florida, seista key. We have a house down there on the beach. so it was our last day and i was drunk. So i got into a hottub with my friends and like 5 girls. so someone seggusted we skinny dip so we all did. we all hoped into the pool naked. Well i think i everyone knows what partyboy is. The guy off jack ass he like rips off his clothes with a thong on and dances on random ppl. Well i did that on jenn (my ex) friend. BEst friend at that. Opps. So i get home after making promises that nothing leaves that place, you kno nothing is ever said about that night ever again. Everyone agrees. So i go on with my life. 2 weeks down the road jenn finds out about it. Along with some other stuff such as my Old porn from along time ago.(which i though i got rid of.) :banghead: . so we break up and after about a week of talking we got back together. Then I start school. and of course this girl named sara had to start flirting with me and went down on me (not sex but close) so i pushed her away. Once again this gets out to jenn. BUt not only does this get to jenn, so do lies, like streched truth. I dont know what was said but that night i went home and she was there waiting for me. She gave me back the key to my house and left. I called her later that night to know waht was going on. Her phone kept ringing and ringing. I must have called like 10 times. After that i gave up and tried an hour later. Finally she picked up, she said she was at the mall with Her friends. NOt a miniute after i got off the phone with her my best friend calls and askes me if i knew where jenn was and i was like yea at the mall. He said no shes not. My heart was pounding, then i was like where is she then. AT nicks house, her car is parked out side. I was like WHAT THE FUCK!. i hung up with him and called her back and asked where she was again and she was like why do u care and hung up and turned her phone off. I finally got ahold of her and told her to come over right now. So she did and we had a talk and decide to just be friends, but know its like she doesnt want to be, and im trying to take a hint. but what if it isnt a hint what if its unitentional. Theres more to it then that but i dont want to go into it any farther before i get to emotional.

Well, I'm an incredibly blunt person. I've been in a similar situation.

YOU HAVE TWO DAYS POUT. NOW MOVE ON WITH LIFE. Be friends if you can, but it doesn't sound like your situation will benefit from that. In any event, pick yourself up, brush the mess behind and keep your focus on your life. How old are you anyway?
