need new engine?

i just got a mitushi eclipse 92', with 186,XXX miles on it, do u you think i'm gonna need a new engine soon?

, well i wouldn't really know, but when i strat the car, the rpm goes up and down for like 300 rpm, and when i'm driving it, when i get to a stop light, the rpm goes down to 500 rpm and then up to 1500 rpm, and then it stays at 750, i don't know what to do, :screwy:

That doesn't mean your engine is about to explode, but with 180k, obviously its closer to death than one at 100k.
