Ok, I am new to the Camaro and not the greatest with cars, but I am trying to learn. I recently acquired a 1991 Camaro RS 305.
Do I have this right, there is TBI (throttle body injection) or a TPI (Tuned Port Injection), right.
How do I know what I have?
I was reading my Camaro repair manual, and it was saying that the TBI system is used on 2.5L (VIN 2) and 5.0L (VIN E) engines.
It also said that the 1990-1992 5.0L and 5.7L uses the TPI.
Does the "VIN E" mean that if my VIN number starts with an "E" that I have a TBI, and if it does not that I have a TPI?
Thanks for the help.

a TPI engine looks like this:

engine code, aka VIN E is the 8th digit of the vin, not the start of the vin.
