it figures...the day i plan my comeback and my PC's internet goes down for the day lol. Anywho thanks for all the welcome backs :biggrin:
Reason I left before was AF and my PC stopped getting along (aka I could no longer post). So I roamed the internet, settled on a board full of local people that was kinda cool, met alot of friends...then drama consumed the board and it went down in flames lol. I've been tellin Ami i've been wanting to come back for awhile so I figured here's my chance!
The civic since a year ago....
Well i'm using marked001's old engine....so far it hasn't blown up and whiped out a town yet lol. No actaully its been doing awesome, I've seriously must have done 5 or so open lapping days this past year along with 30-40 or more autox's. You gotta love the A6 motor, i've scared the hell outta some other built A6's with and even a few swapped cars as far as autox/lapping days have been concerned. Right now a Z6 head just pretty much fell into my lap, along with a ported and polished A6 manifold with 60mm JG throttle body....so yea even though I said I would never build a mini-me...mine is gonna be bad ass hehe. Also getting very close to buying a quaife LSD soon, that will be backed by a good sized list of suspension revisions that i've been planning for the past year. But the main thing that has to come first right now is the body which is rusting as always. But this time I have a welder on my side, also I THINK i'm gonna be the first civic hatch to have a stock CRX front bumper. I'm still trying to pick up parts to make it work but I test fitted it and it looks pretty cool. I did it because my civic bumper is sagging and just beat, the CRX one is all one peice and looks more agressive. I just have to hack the CRX fenders a little.
SOOO for cliffs notes....finish off bodywork and front end conversion, then do suspension mods to push the car over the 9g handling limit lol, then finally I get to play with my motor bits again. Nice to be back home :evillol:

lucky you said STOCK bumper. cause ive been having a combat style CRX front bumper as well as the rest of a CRX front cap on my hatch for quite some time now, about a year. too bad i probably wont finish the car before you do. if you have any questions, i went through all the problems already associated with this conversion

THERE she is....I came back for YOU Ami and i'm bringing the pain with me :bricks1: Yea soon as I figure out how to work the gallery i'll try to get a few more pics up but right now it looks the same as the ones I posted already hehe. I'm probaly gonna paint the wheels soon like a gunmetal color or something....all the damn cone marks are gettin to them.
