ive been wanting to get a 4-1 header for my gsr and found a really good deal on www.ebaymotors.com but there stainless steel, and ive always heard ceramic coated headers are better. plus they have a 2 1/2" inlet and i already got 2 1/2 from the header back bought my header thats on it right know is a 2 1/4 so it has a little more back pressure, do you think i wont have enough back pressure once i have 2 1/2 from header to exhaust? will it slow me down in the 1/4 when i dont use n20? and will it be better with the n20?? anywho i dont know how to link an internet page on this forum but if anybody would take a sec to go to ebaymotors and type in ( jun 2.5") it will bring up like 10 items all of them being the one i want. its only $125. tell me if its a good buy or not. thanx
p.s. when does the 4-1 header perform best? from 5000 to redline? what?? and does anybody know the pros and cons on ceramic vs stainless.

ceramic is all about reducing the amount of heat released by the header. it's actually ceramic-coated stainless steel. personally, i think ceramic is better; when you're pushing your engine hard, the less heat under the hood, the better.
Your 1/4 mile time should actually improve, as any power lost in the lower rev range will be more than gained back by the improved flow in the upper powerband, & that's where hondas spend most of their time anyway. Just IMO.

The ceramic coated header are to trap heat more, but they can flow better cause they smooth out the in consisancies.
