lol racing a 95 Pontiac Bonneville SE

lol yea...i'm racing against one of these things tomorrow when i get my car back. How bad you think this kid will beat me by? lol He has an auto 3.6 v6 engine compared to my d16y8 engine. lol my pontiac v6 killed a integra ls, so i bet i'll get owned by this kid with the bonneville.

damn i didnt know the bonne v6 was packin that much....thats even better than the new mustang 6.

that have that much?! my girlfriend has a 91 Grand Prix SE with the 3.2 and I looked it up she only has like 180 ft/lbs, and the hp was less than that. i was playing with her and beat her, tho i don't know if she gunned it all the way, and her car isn't at optimal, but i don't think the bonnes had that much

oh and if its an auto, my gf's is (tho its a prix) and that makes it slower

lol, i didn't get my car back tonight. The guy doing the swap said he had to use my old harness n' modify it for the d16y8. Also, my friend's pontiac is screwed up so he had to take it to the shop. maybe next time :(

How far are you racing? 1/8th of a mile I think you have a little bit of a chance. You will have to get a good jump and just run strong. If your racing 1/4 hes going to stomp you.

Yea, we have two 92' bonnevilles in my family...you wanna win for sure? Throw a turn in there hehe. You might do ok off the line but after that I can't say, they are land tanks though so i'm gonna give the upper hand to a light CRX with a peppy engine.

well id say the only way to even attempt a win would be having a set of turns in there, but if the person can drive you'll still get owned. i had a 90 Olds Cut Supreme, another boat of a car, but after feeling its handling, i could whip that car through turns like nobody's business.
