I drive a stock 2000 ITR and for the longest time I've been wanting to race a Porsche Boxster and finally the other day one pulled up to a light w/ me and it was a oyung guy driving (20 something), so when the light turns green we both go and we're even in first and when i rip it into second I gain on him a bit and a bit more in thrid. It was a close race but I still won! I finally got to race the Boxster.

The S would fuck an ITR. The Boxter S stock makes the quarter mile in 14.0 -13.9 so itll defenitely fuck a ITR.

Put 50K into an ITR, and you can fuck n e boxter over.

50 K, common man. With 5k, thats enough to destroy a boxter.

I've seen stock boxter S's do the 1/4 mile in 13.7 but even the regular boxter is not that slow. It still does the 1/4 mile in 14.7-14.8 which is decent. Also you can't compare what they cost because the both cars are meant to serve a different purpose. Drive a boxter sometime and then tell me if you think it's worth 40k because I have driven one and it is worth every penny.

You can also spend $5000 on a Hybrid Ford Festiva to get low 13's. But why would you want to?
Besides chicks dig the boxster.
ITR: 0-60 in 6.5 seconds.
PORSCHE: 0-Puntang in 6.5 seconds.

I bet maybe 1 out of 10 who've posted on this thread have riden in a boxster, let a lone driven one. You cannot get an ITR to handle like a boxster, you cannott get an ITR to sound like a boxster (absolutely no comparison), you can't get an ITR to feel like a boxster, and IMO you can't get an ITR to match the boxsters looks on a scale of 1-10. Theirs a reason it costs 40G's... Porsche quality isn't cheap (i'm pretty sure you can get a 98 base series for like 20G's though). The only thing I like more about an integra than a boxster is the shifting and the clutch and the fact that the ignition is on the right hand side LOL.
EDIT: Good kill =)

You must not go auto X alot because most of the base boxsters get raped by type-r"s out there.I have a 90 h/b with full race suspension and ive been as fast 2.8 seconds faster in lap than some.

re-read my post jackass... not to mention auto X is about the driver, not so much the car. not all rich boys that have boxsters can drive 'em.

I think he was addressing the "handling" part of your past where you say "You cannot get an ITR to handle like a boxster", in assumption that you meant that the Boxster handles better than an ITR.
They're actually pretty evenly matched, although the Integra will have a better transition, as it is lighter, and inherently more tossable.

I do get what you are saying about the rest. A Porsche is a Porsche. "There is no substitute".
BTW, ease-up on the name-calling.

exactly ya jackass lol. i think on a track it'd be quite even. that'd be tight to get soem pro drivers, like 5 in boxsters then 5 in ITR"s then let htem go at it for a while then have them switch cars. that'd be a good show!
