BMW 535i stalling

When I first start the car in the morning it starts at first time, but if I don't rev the engine for a few minutes it stalls at idle, and then it won't start for about 10 minutes. When I was examing the engine bay I saw that a wire that was connected to the lower part of the fron of the engine and the ignition wire near the distributor was wrapped...
Could this be the cause for this problem when the car is cold?
Once the car is hot it idles at 750 rpm smoothly.

If you're having problems with stalling, I recommend diving to increase your air speed.
Ok, that's my smart-ass comment for the day...
