New to Suburban

I am a new owner of a 1993 k1500 with 187,000 miles. The truck is in very good condition and I would like to maintain it as well as I can. Any suggestions on where to start, like what items to inspect, repair, and replace? Is ther anywhere I can find out specific info to my make and model such as gearing, axles, engine, and transmission. Thanks in advance.
