My worst one was probably done to my old Revell Dodge Viper. I painted the rims and engine gold. It did not look pretty.

Well, I painted a old porsche 911 purple, from wheels to seats, hahahaha
Added motorcycle decals on a F50, put rice looking "racing strips" on a BMW 325i

how's this for dumb?

Well...one of my old monogram kits....i was still young and didnt know the first thing about airbrushing...and just sprayed the entire car when i was built.....so the wheels, the windows and the body were all blue....i was only 9 at the time....so i thought the paint would just slide off the parts i didnt want painted....how silly of me!

I've done stuff like that too. When I was but a young'un. I would be sooo excited to get the model together I'd paint it after it was assembled. It always looked like ass when I did that.

One of the worst ones that I have done would have to be painting my '65 Impala gold with a brush after it was already painted blue. I didnt remove the blue paint :o but it was one of my first so :p

dumbest car detail huh...

man, it's got to me my roll cage in a Feiro GT that i made when i was like in grade 4.

I didn't know what a roll cage was back then, so I thought it was some big ass handle bars for people in the car to hold on to.. so i took the left over trees and cut/heated/bend them into giant handle bars and glued them ALL OVER the interior of the car..

I'm not sure what is going on. I'm getting pretty pissed with them at the moment. The car was in stock and ordered on the 12th Dec. My wheels i ordered only took 11 days the first time i ordered. If its not here in 5 days i'm cancelling my order's   as the kit will be in my model shop here by the end of the month

I have kinda the same problem, I was asking about it here and everyone ignored me, thank you very much :finger: (turn the smile up side down) this is my first time with HLJ, bad impression already. Note: I placed my order weeks before christmas, and I'm still waiting for them to process it.....ok, well not the fault of everyone here, but I'm just mad.....I'm going to sit in the corner now

When i ordered the first time i got a email back straight away saying what i ordered. Two days later saying it was confirmed. Then about 2 days later the final shipping cost price and that it had beed sent.

My last two orders i have not received the final shipping cost email. I have emailed them twice and got no reply. I feel like getting my size 11 boots and kicking there butts. I think i'll just end up ordering though my local model store if this is what it's going to be like from now on.

hope you guys (Henery and Warren) and ME best of luck and get the orders in soon :o I've also ordered hundreds and hundreds of $$$$ of stuff from HLJ before, and ALL times, things went really good, but i guess they're just that floaded with holiday orders...

I really try not to sent any complaints or anything like that... since the Japanese are really sensitive about shipping to overseas already, most company won't ship goods overseas even if you are willing to pay the big bucks(due to the trouble of customs and lack of people in Japan with good english)..

The order I currently have with them is in Special Processing (whatever the hell that means) I have been waiting for it since December 6.

I guess I shouldn't be complaining when I don't even know how the company is run. You guys should feel luckly you can get the kits that you are ordering on HLJ from your local shop. The stuff I've order are just too hard to find else where.

I'll wait

Your not the only one without a good hobby shop in your area. The only one in my town is a Hobby Lobby. The last time I went there they only had two Tamiya kits and the rest were Revell. One of the Tamiya kits was a GT-One Race Car and it was $30. Didn't buy it because I already bought one from them a while ago. So from now on I am going to stick with HLJ.
