I need help

I dont know if this is normal or not but on my 97 eclipse gs when i pres the gas the rpms get up and they go down to 3000 or 2.5 and stay there for like 3 or 4 second and then it falls donw to normal. Is this normal or is somthing wrong?

Same thing here. I also have a problem with idle surge so i thought i was a part of that. I really don't think it is a big deal at least on mine, my rpms will only stick for a sec or 2.

I am curious about this as well. I have a 97 RS and sometimes it does the same thing, but other days it will work just fine. If anyone knows about this, or if I should even be worrying I would like to know

Sometimes that happens to me too.
I garage my 95 rs, and when i take i out once in a while to drive around, sometimes the rpm stays at 2.5 to 3 for like 2 to 3 secs :screwy: (This is when the car is not warmed up). When i warm it up i dont have this prob, but if anyone knows about this please help.
