Don't forget about the potential GT-R Skyline coming over here too...oO!

If they DO bring over the GT-R as is...R.I.P. Subaru, Mitsu, Honda, etc....

well if the skyline concept r35 stays the way it looks when it comes to production models..ugly..

But it's exactley that...a concept.

That's why I said as is...

i read somewhere that the skyline is coming over as an infiniti model sedan under the designation of Q35.....and it looks docile IMO, no aggressive stylings like that of the R34. i think it also sports a first V6 for the skylines at 2.5 liters or 3.0, with the 3.0 being rated 256 hp.

that is the G35.. replacing the g20... Nissan also has skylines that are sedans and whatnot its not all coupe sports cars.. the R34 GST is a sedan. the GTRs are the coupes.

yea the g35 has a v6 and soo will the gtr which will come in under infiniti's name.. the gtr will eityher have a v6 or a possible v8 i think they are ditchign the rb26..we arent talkin about the g35 tho, which i dont find too attractive either:(

the r35 has about another year or two before it comes over, plus they havent finished it, its still concept. i believe the g35 is done..

na i dont think the subaru is better..lookin for a car i can drive all year..so that excludes the nissan 350z and mazda rx8, how much money do you have to spend in a new civic, or car of that sort..to get enough power..and looks like the lancer evo?

hi i am a long time reader, first time poster. i just wanna say hi to everyone and comment on mitsus. i have had a 1st gen. (1994) eclipse for about 3 yr. now. i bought it used in 1999. when i bought it, i had new tires, shocks, head gaskets, brakes and a new chip to control the a/c (manufacturer recall/defect). it has run really well and i havent had any problems with it. i have heard rumors about people having trouble with mitsus, eclipses in particular, but they were all 2nd gen (95-99). my car has had its share of issues but they were mostly cosmetic (dials falling off and a driver side visor that doesnt like to stay on) but otherwise it is a great car. its pretty fast and it is tiding me over til the evo vii comes over, whenever that might be. anyways thanks for letting me put my .02 in. :)

When the evo 7 gets her, the U.S. is gonna get a rude awaiking.
Why u ask...
Cause i'm gonna be doing 170 mph at 3:00 A.M. in my neighbor hood just for the hell of it. And I'm gonna driv it like that guy in the audi commercial, you know the one, where he goes to get a pizza.
And in the winter, I rally up and down the streets just to go get a soda.

speaking of commercials, i love that vw commercial (even though i hate the cars, they have the best commercials i gotta say) where the guy is waiting in the parking lot for the salesman so he can buy the car and the saleman comes out of the building with a couple and they are pointing at the car the guys wants. the guy starts to panic because he doesnt want them to buy the car before he has a chance too so he LICKS the car door handle!!! the first time i saw that i laughed hysterically. i wouldnt think twice about doing that for my evo, actually if someone tried to do that to me, i'd just wipe it off and hop in lol. hey a licked evo is still an evo. :hehehe:

seriously though i have heard that mitsu's give a lot of problems after a few miles have been put on it though they are better performers than the subies i have heard the subie's are bullet proof to modifications.and will last much longer. Is this true?

it isn't in the case of the Evo from what I've heard. As a matter of fact, people usually say that Evos are uncharacteristically reliable for mitsubishi.
