I chose this 57 chevy Nomad as my first model. Most is box stock except for the removal of the integrated exhaust into the chassis and replacing with aluminum tubing. Wheels and tires are Indy L60 Cragar Mag Wheels by MRC. I would love some critique on this model because I know the quality is no where near some of these guys!

Looks great so far. The interior has a little too much shine but it'll be ok under glass. Those Cragars are going to look awesome when its all said and done. Can't wait to see it complete!

How do you bend your aluminum tubing? It looks like you used a pipe bender, cause I've tried to bend mine and it usually doesnt work out to good.

Actually...I used a small polished rock and slowly bent the tubing with pressure against the rock. The mufflers/glass packs were made with first a 5/32 tube inserted into a 3/16 tube. Edges were ground down and then put over the orginal 1/8 tubing. Take it slow and apply presure to wide areas and your sure to bend without creasing. I'm sure a pipe bender works well, but the rock was free ;) Good Luck!
