trunk keeps opening

Does anyone know why my trunk flies open when Im driving? Is this a common problem with 97 accords? This has done it twice in the past three days. Luckily I have nothing in there like dead bodies!?!? LOL....
I always make sure the trunk is closed and latched but it just seems to fly open for no reason. ???

Really weird man.. you sure your trunk latch on the side of ur seat lifts up making it pop open that could be ur problem

Spray down your trunk latch with WD-40 and leave it soak in real good. Open and close the trunk a few times to work it in after a few minutes. If this does not help your release cable is gummed up, and thats a bit of work to repair.
