I have a 97 gtp, just in the past couple of weeks i have noticed a rattling noise in my supercharger. Just above idle the rattling stops and it runs smooth. The noise is coming from the housing. I called a gm dealership and they said to replace the supercharger. what is it most likely and what is the most inexpensive way to fix it?

Email me please [email protected]

Thanks

My 99 GTP has the same problem I figured it was the SC bearings since I had the same problems with the SC on mazdas when I worked for them. If anyone can find instructions for changing bearings or easy fix please post and I will do the same. Thanks

Dude,

I had something happen recently that sounded much like this. In my case, it turned out to be a cracked flywheel. I hope your luck is better!
