my bro got 6" speakers for his 89 crx (pretty nice aftermarket ones) i rmemeber tearing it apart, its pretty adaptable for anything in that size range. i have an idea tho, pull the cover off and have a look :)

look in the hole and measure it, my bro didnt have any speaker either, it was kinda funnie actually because we didnt know that when he got it, we just thought it had no deck so when we put one in and got everything hooked up (very clean i mite add, he got a honda adapter and everything and it looked beautiful, damn i do good work...) there was no sound and i was like, did u check to see if there were actually speakers? anyway, the frounts were just 6" and the holes lined up, they should be the same for you. if u are still worried go to a wreckers and pull one out and take it with you when u get the new ones.

Stock front speakers are four inch but you could get bigger if you wanna make the hole bigger

4 inch on the front speakers. you can put in 5 1/4 using the original grills by enlarging the white plastic brackets (cut them out), then, because the tweeter part will most likely not let the original cover back on, you have to CAREFULLY snip the plastic on the back of the grill, leaving just the cloth part. This will then fit, maintaining the original look of the 4 in speakers. Be careful not to rub the window handle across the cloth when you roll down the window.

ONLY cut the back of the speaker cover - the plastic supports where they touch the tweeter. If you cut all the plastic out it will be ruined.
