What's Up everyone?
As I mentionned in my intro thread, my 2.7 L engine died on me at 100,000 miles. the saying might be true, American whips are not worth buying after 100,000 miles. My mechanic and part dealer I know however advised me to replace the dead 2.7L engine w/ the better designed 3.2L engine. Apparently all I have to change is the ECU (Engine Control Unit) and the Engine Wiring Harnass. The transmission of the 2.7L is apparently adaptible to that of the 3.2L so no problems there.
I'd like to know:
- if you had heard of that such a procedure before
- if yes what is the degree of certainty that I have that it is going to work
-then, beyond the ECU and Wiring Harnass is there any adaptability problem ?
:banghead:
Thanks in advance
For those of you who are still enjoying the 2.7L you might want to flush your regular oil and put some synthetic oil in it.

Thanks for your consideration.
