daytime running light not working

My 97 Safari daytime running light is not working. It happened once two days after I bought it new from the dealer. Brought it back and they fixed the problem. They told me it was a problem with the diode.

Same problem happened again now. I looked at the wiring diagram and tried to locate the diode without success. Can someone give me any hint where the diode is and what it looks like?
