The metal tube leading to the rear heater in my 97 voyager has corroded and is leaking. Chyrsler dealer wants $600 to replace. Can this just be blocked off, as if there were no rear heater instead? It appears to be corroded where it connects to a rubber hose. Could the end be cut off and a longer rubber hose used?
