Alright,

I just baught a 94 tegra LS and supposably, the engine was rebuilt...i am not sure that it was or not, so either way, i need to rebuild it...so, Since i plan on rebuilding it to hold boost...what all do i need, i mean every little thing...I'm just starting to get into motor work, so i have to start learning somewhere...but I want to be able to hold at most 8-15 psi without blowing my motor up...

so, i need to know how to build my motor so i can boost my car...i dont think i need to re-sleeve do i? Thanks alot...if anyone has done this, i would like to speak with you through AIM or e-mail or something...it would be easier to explain... thanks again!

Im planning to do the same thing with my LS motor over the summer, I plan on runnin 1 bar of boost on JE pistons, Eagle rods, I will be using as many ARP bolts as I can get, hopfully a B16 vtec head by then, and I will be installing a block guard. I think that should be good for 1 bar of boost (14.7psi). I still need to figure out what compression ratio to go with and stuff, because i still want to have some power before the turbo spools up. and it has to be streetable.

Yea, thats exactly what i plan on doing as well, 15 psi...i have been reading about all this for soo long now, i still don't know what i want to do...i was thinkin about the LS/Vtec till i read about how bad it is to boost...i just don't want this whole motor rebuilding to cost and arm and a leg, and maybe another leg...i was hoping i could do most of it by myself and with some help from a race car mechanic...so...i plan on cuttin back on the price...i like what you doin with you civic...i have a 95 ex right now also...but its about to be sold bc i got the teg...
