<sigh> this is the third week in a row where i've missed a night. I know it's not THAT often, but still, once or twice a week seems a bit excessive. Anyone have any good sleep remedies OTHER than seeing the doctor?

I haven't slept in weeks....does that count as a problem?
I know the cause of my lack of sleep though......my boss keeps screwing up and I am worried about losing my job over his mistakes.

I get insomnia all the time thanks to shift work.
Moving the Xbox in my room hasn't helped the matter either :D
"Hmmm, I should sleep. Alright, in a minute, I'll just finsih this level."
*4 hours later*
"I should go to bed. I'll just finish this level....."

Sorry to here that man. If I can't sleep that well during the night I'm usually stressed out about something. Try and take some Benadryl or Nyquil, or some kinda of sleeping medicine.

Only time I lose sleep is when my conscious keeps me awake, trying to tell me that killing cheerleaders is a bad thing :screwy:

Shiftwork is shitwork. It screws the fuck out of your life, renders you incapable of normal sleep patterns, and drains you of the will to be happy.I'm lucky if I can sleep for more than 4 hours at a stretch, and it's helped to get me into a really unhealthy mindset on more than one occasion.
I'm glad that the hell of rotating shifts is almost over.Once I start my day job,I really should find some chemical assistance to get myself back into a 'normal' sleep pattern. There really is no other way ,as far as I can tell.

Warm milk.
Change your sheets.
Or, just have a great big wank beforehand.

:loser: last i recall alcohol was a drug. :loser:
I'd rather be a pot-head than an alcoholic any day.

Woa, i can personally say dont do shots of everclear. I tried that once, it was sober to drunk in about 6 seconds and then drunk to retching in about 3 seconds. My throat hurt all night.
Everclear is good for one thing....lighting fires

Seriously; though, if you smoke crappy weed (Schwag), that will put you to sleep, and make you feel better. Weed is great no matter what y'alls say.

yeah, but in a bad way. But that's not the entire reason.. I guess it's just stress.
