I am interested in the difference between an '88 mk3 turbo A and a standard turbo Supra. Anything along the lines of power, parts, weight and how much extra they should cost.

- Bigger front mount intercooler
- More Hiflowing turbo
- Longer duration cams
- MAP sensed intake
- Bigger throttle body and butterfly valve
- Bigger 3000 pipe
- Thicker sway bars
- Bilstein shocks
- TRD springs
- Momo steering wheel
- Momo gear knob
- 200kw at stock boost (7psi)
The Turbo A was build just so Toyota could race there newer lighter and more beefed up Group A car, rules said there has to be 500 produced and sold so that's what they did.

Turbo-A had:
Larger cams
Larger injectors
TRD twin plate HD clutch
Higher boost level with an upgraded compressor wheel on the turbo
TRD limited slip diff (with longer legs than the standard Supra)
TRD / Bilstein suspension
Leather interior (optional)

280 ps stock

It has exactly what I already listed so I don't see why you posted that list. Leather interior is an option on every MKIII, not just the Turbo A. The TRD torsen LSD is the same as the JZA70 torsen LSD by the way.

I just bought this Turbo A. It’s not exactly a standard engine or interior though. Opinions are welcome. The estimated price is in Australian $. It should be on the road here in about 6 weeks.

OMFG

You got my car!

I got that email that night, replied with an email that i wanted it, and the next day he told me that someone had bought it! I was very disappointed.

Oh well, at least it's going to someone that will take care of it.
