I live in rochester NY, how bad is it to drive my car when the roads are dry? will a little bit of salt and snow harm my car as long as i wash it before i store it again?

It won't be bad as long as you wash it before it sits a long time. Just be careful just cause it doesn't look slippery doesn't mean it isn't and body damage sucks ass!

I drive mine in the snow and ice as long as it isn't too bad. You might have to start out in a higher gear but you should do *OK* as long as you don't drive it like you stole it. Oh, and no sudden lane changes, i almost spun out that way.

If the roads are dry, and not much snow around I'll drive my car on nice days. Other then that, it stays in the garage for the winter, just like its doing right now. I can't wait for spring!

thanks guys.. it's so fucking hard to not drive it.. plus i only owned it for like 2 months last fall before i began storing it for winter... the cold pavement doesn't help my nitto 555R either so i don't race at all.

yea, in this climate i have to granny shift like a mofo so the tires don't break lose... Last night i found a nice dry stretch of road and i took my buddy for a ride.. He is a die hard up tight Honda guy.. He hates all other cars pretty much.. So i took him for a ride and i mashed it from 45 in second gear up to 120.. His whole perspective changed and he kept begging me to let him drive it.. Which leads me to this question... He's done installing a T3/t3 turbo kit into his GSR.. He won't run more than 8psi and he figures when tuned he'll make 255ish whp... Should my car still spank his in a drag race in the 1/4? He does have an LSD...

I don't know really, but I'm in the same boat. My friend has a '95 GSR that he's going to turbo. Those things weigh like over 1000 pounds less than our monsters, so the power to weight ratio will be awesome for it. I'm guessing that you'll still beat him (barely) in the 1/4, but I could be wrong. 8 psi isn't much boost for those motors. I got my ass handed to me by a Integra Type-R that was turboed, but he had way more stuff done to it. It runs 11's up here in Colorado, and that's damn quick.
