I don't know what years you are talking about here, but I seem to recall there being a bolt pattern difference on some. In other words, the TH350 trans was also used behind Olds, Pontiac, Buick and Chevy. But as I recall the bell housing from say an Olds, was different than the one used behind a small block Chevy...or perhaps Olds and Chevy where the same, but Buick and Pontiac where different, I cant recall which way it went, but I seem to remember one or the other having a dip in the top center(perhaps Olds and Buick?), while the others went around at the top(Chevy and Pontiac?).. I also seem to recall a universal bell housing that would fit across the board as it had different bolt patterns pre-drilled so it would fit any GM product. Also they ran two different tail shafts, one long and the other a short tail shaft.
Anyhow, if you currently are running a TH350, just make sure the bell housing on the one you are getting is the same as what you took out, and the tail shaft length is the same, other than that a 350 is a 350.

Buick, Olds & Pontiac are the same & don't bolt up to a Chevy. The Chevy has the round top. The short tail shaft (6") is a car tranny & the long (9") is out of a truck. They also make adapter plates to use either style with either engine (Chevy to BOP or vice-versa).
