As i am bored of my rx-7 wich become unfinishable, i started this kit.
hasegawa civic vti.
Wheels are kranze shoki modified, i reduced the lip to make the spokes come outside, and sprayed them with alcladII chrome.
No body mods, just front grille opened and passenger-side headlight removed (for the air intake).
This is with the first coat of paint(motip touch up pen). It was the first time i used this type of paint but it came out quite nice !

Thanks for the comment ! i must say that i'm very proud of it
For a try-out with automotive paint, it turned out quickly and great. I'll definitely continue with them.
I think eg3 is hatchback and eg6 is coupé.

I got time to work on it last days, so i can show some progress. 80% done, left to come the side mirrors, the exhaust ( complete alu line), and brakes ( i have to cast some copies as i run out of brembos :evillol: )

I made a big air intake with dual-cone design using putty+tamiya mesh to display behind the headlight. But no chance you see it with my crapy cam !
As the interior didn't inspire me at all, i decided to paint the windows in black, so i gain time, and the car looks darker.

A pic of the exhaust tip, made of 2 alu tubes thined at the end inserted in 2 section of antenna tubes painted titanium siver, and you have a nice motorcycle exhaust look :smokin:
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/111698Photo_082.jpg
An overall view. And a bonus pic of me in the rear window :icon16:
I must admit I like this quick build more than i though at start !
