JDM/USDM parts compatibility........

I dont know where to post this so i figured it would fit here. Example: Vortech makes a supercharger kit for the USDM B18C. Will that same kit fit on a JDM B18C. I would think it would but I dont know for sure. As far as I know the big difference that makes the JDM motors get more HP and torque is that Japan has looser standards(thats what I have heard anyway)

I think they should work on either one because the car in my sig has a JdM B16A in it and all of my performance parts will more than likely be suited for the USDM B16A and fit with no problem...The only dfference I see with JdM and UsdM is which side the steering wheel is on.

A B16A is a B16A whether it is USDM or JDM or EDM whatever. Differences are between OBD years.
