rev limit

why can't my probe gt rev past 5000 RPM? is there a way I can get it to rev past that? i mean it wouldn't bother me but it won't rev past 5000 even when driving. it also is only building around 3 to 5 # of boost. could the wastegate be causing all of this? what can i do to fix this and rev higher?

if i remember right there is a little knob located around the intake setup near the intercooler, play with that alittle and see if that fixes it, but be careful with that knob I don't know what will happen it you turn it too far
