wont start

i have a 91 laser turbo and the car ran great until a few days ago, when it lost compression, I don't know for sure what it is, but i think the valves are stuck open and now it wont start could you guys please help with this prob. :banghead:

How do you know the valves are stuck open? I assume you actually did a compression test, but its important to ask before we start diagnosing the issue.
