i have friend thats selling his 88 4cyl for $200, its in great shape for year. Do i have to change any/all engine mounts, computer, transmission, rear end, etc, to swap in a 5.0? Thx! By the way, it has a stock 5 speed in it.

you have to change:
mounts
rad.
computer
tranny
driveshaft
rear-end
shocks
springs
pulleys (if you do not have the right ones)
thoughs are a must just to get it to drive.. then you need:
brakes
alt.
prolly a new battery
and possibly a few somethings that i over looked. this was done off the top of my head with little thought, just to give you an idea.

This question has been asked a lot in the past and there are a bunch of threads with good info you can use. Do a search and see what you come up with. Here's a link to one to get you started.

The torque rating of a 4cyl T5 is 240. It won't last. Rerun has a good list.
